Conferences and Workshops Spring Conference - Birmingham, May 2009 Held at the Muath Welfare Trust, The Bordesley Centre,Stratford Road, Camp Hill, Birmingham, UK, B11 1AR, on Saturday 2nd May 2002. The theme of the Conference was Moon Sighting and Controversy in the Muslim World. Speakers at the event include Dr Usama Hassan, who presented a paper on Science and Moon Sighting, Alhaji Is'Haq Kunle Sanni, who pressented issues surrounding on Moon Sighting in Nigeria and the Efforts of the Sultan, Br Hassan Al-Rowani, who presented a paper on The Need for Unity in the Muslim Ummah, and Dr Tajuddeen Yusuf, who presented a paper on Making the Maximum Use of the NMF Online Discussion Forum.
