At the forefront, NMFUK London Chapter has been tasked with managing the establishment of NMFUK’s centre / headquarters in London. We have managed to procure the model designs of the centre and made it into a booklet, which will be sent to organisations and individuals to solicit financial support.
In an effort to actualise the NMFUK centre project, London chapter recently visited some international Islamic organisations with a view to seeking their support. The organisations visited include: the Muslim World League (MWL), The London Central Mosque and Islamic cultural Centre and the Council of Nigerian Muslim Organisations in the UK and Ireland CNMO.
In 2015, London Chapter sponsored three orphans in Nigeria under the NMFUK orphan-sponsorship scheme.
London Chapter also conducts Ta’alim classes every Saturday in Hausa language, which is recorded and shared with everyone in the London Chapter database.
Also, we hold a monthly get-together every last Saturday of the month in order for new members to be introduced properly, existing members to catch up with each other, and also as a farewell dinner for members who are leaving.
We also hold Eid Walimas in a park every Eid where families interact. See pictures attached.
Finally, London Chapter hosted the last NMFUK annual conference in December 2014.
