Sequel to a visit by the Ameer and some members of the management committee in 2012, concerted efforts were made to revive the Manchester Chapter. This started with a dinner three weeks after the visit. Since then there have been a series of activities to ensure that the chapter is fully active. In 2015, there were Eid gatherings, a family get together barbecue and a fundraising dinner. The attendance to these events were very impressive, some money was also raised to support the charitable activities of NMFUK. The dinner particularly had an attendance in excess of 120 people. During the dinner, cash donation of £ 914 was received.
There were pledges totalling £5130 to cover 10 full orphan sponsorships, 11 education sponsorship and 2 partial orphan sponsorship.
